This notice covers slirc.app, its waiting list, and Slirc instances we host. Each self-hosted instance is run by its own operator.

What we collect

Why we use it

We use waiting-list details to manage interest in hosted Slirc and contact you about service. We use account and billing details to run service and issue invoices. We process chat data only to host, back up, support, and secure your instance.

The legal basis is steps taken before a contract, performance of a contract, and our legitimate interest in running a secure service.

Hosting and access

Every hosted team gets its own app, IRC server, and storage in Europe. Slirc staff can access infrastructure and stored data when needed to operate, back up, secure, or support service. We do not read channels for advertising, analytics, or model training.

We use Resend to deliver service email. It processes recipient addresses and email content needed to send messages.

Retention

We keep waiting-list details until you ask us to delete them or they are no longer needed for list. After service ends, you can export your history. We delete hosted instance 30 days later.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Email [email protected]. You can also complain to Dutch Data Protection Authority, Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Cookies

slirc.app uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page views and performance without cookies. Hosted Slirc uses essential session cookies to keep you signed in.

Changes

We update this page when service or data handling changes. Date at top shows latest version.
